In addition, there will be field programs, exhibitions and bilateral meetings.
It is expected that 23 action plans, cooperation plans and documents in the agro-forestry sector will be reviewed and approved. Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung will attend and speak at the opening ceremony of the 40th AMAF.

This is the third time Vietnam has chaired the AMAF to host the 40th AMAF and the 18th AMAF + 3 (China, Japan, South Korea) (from 10/2018 to 10/2019). Prior to this, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development had twice assumed the AMAF Chairmanship and hosted the AMAF in Vietnam in 1998 and 2008.
