On October 23, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Partnership for Sustainable Agriculture in Viet Nam (PSAV) attended the 30th Anniversary Celebration of Cargill Vietnam Co., Ltd., one of the pioneering foreign-invested enterprises in the field of animal feed and livestock nutrition in Viet Nam.
The ceremony was attended by Vice Minister of Agriculture and Environment Hoang Trung, representatives of Cargill Vietnam, business partners, international organizations, and industry associations.

In his remarks, Vice Minister Hoang Trung highly appreciated Cargill’s pioneering role in accompanying Viet Nam’s agricultural sector over the past three decades. He emphasized that Cargill has brought not only significant investment capital but also valuable knowledge, technology, and modern management models—contributing to the development of livestock value chains towards a greener, more sustainable, and globally integrated agriculture.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in 2024, Cargill’s animal feed production reached over one million tons, serving both domestic and export markets, thereby contributing to the stability of global supply chains. Cargill has also been an active partner in public–private partnership (PPP) programs coordinated by the Ministry and PSAV, with notable initiatives such as Aqua Xanh and She Thrives (Vươn mình), which promote green agriculture, women’s empowerment in rural areas, and community welfare.
On this occasion, the Minister of Agriculture and Environment presented a Certificate of Merit to Cargill Vietnam Co., Ltd. in recognition of its outstanding contributions to the development of the livestock sector and sustainable agriculture in Viet Nam.

The participation of PSAV in this event reaffirmed its role as a bridge between the public and private sectors, fostering dialogue, cooperation, and innovation in Viet Nam’s agriculture. PSAV remains committed to working closely with enterprises such as Cargill to realize the “Green – Smart – Sustainable Agriculture” vision of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
