On May 18th, the PSAV Secretariat had a working session with Grow Asia at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the preparations for the 2018 Asia Growth Initiative Forum and forthcoming PSAV activities.
PSAV and Grow Asia Secretariats have agreed on amendments to the 2018 Asia Growth Initiative Forum and related preparations. In addition, important issues that need to be addressed urgently were discussed in detail before reporting to the Vice Minister Le Quoc Doanh at the same day reception including: (i) a new Deputy Co-Chair of the Private Sector to promote the task forces’ activities; (ii) attract more domestic enterprises to join PSAV; (iii) amend and update the Charter; (iv) Research on the possibility of establishing new task forces and expanding the PPP Task Force on Fruits and Vegetables and (v) Additional Personnel to the PSAV Secretariat.
In addition, Grow Asia will also work closely with PSAV to prepare the content and organization of key events for PSAV in 2018: Mid-year PSAV General Meeting and a Workshop on Learning and Sharing Experience between PPP Task Forces under PSAV.
