In the framework of the High-level meeting of the "4th Vietnam - Japan Agricultural Cooperation Dialogue," Minister Nguyen Xuan Cuong and representatives from seven provinces and over 20 enterprises visited Japan from 23-24/4/2018.
The two ministers exchanged measures to promote agricultural cooperation between the two countries, especially the trade in agro-forestry and fishery products, in the context of the upcoming signing of the CPTPP. At the end of the dialogue, the two ministers jointly signed the Minutes of Mid-term and Long-Term Vision and signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the application of standards and certification of agricultural and food products quality in Vietnam.
On the occasion of this visit, the two ministries jointly organized the Vietnam-Japan agro-business forum. More than 150 delegates from 65 businesses attended the event to exchange ideas on investment opportunities in areas such as cold storage development, logistics services, high quality vegetable production and Technology transfer, product classification, labelling and packaging…
