Looking for businesses to join the Green Tech Hub Program

08/ 09/ 2022

Green growth is currently the top concern of countries around the world, and businesses play the most important role in actualizing the goals of green growth and sustainable development. However many small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) still remain with limited resources and knowledge. Green growth factors often cause increases in production costs that require large investment capital, which are the weaknesses of Vietnam's SMEs.

The Green Tech Hub program aspires to create innovative solutions to help SMEs solve problems and challenges related to green growth. The program is currently seeking interest from the Vietnamese SME community to participate in the Green Tech Hub Program to pilot and jointly develop pioneering technology solutions to improve operational efficiency, reduce operating costs, and promote innovation for green growth.

The program will focus on piloting and developing solutions in two areas:

- Circular economy

- Energy Efficiency

Benefits for businesses participating in the program include:

  1. One-on-one consultation with experts on specific business issues
  2. Pilot solutions to solve business problems
  3. Connect with GIZ's innovation network in Vietnam, Southeast Asian countries, and the EU
  4. Opportunities for training and capacity building in digital transformation
  5. Opportunities to receive a 1-1 technical support package on digital transformation
