At the meeting with businesses participating in the International Festival of Vietnam Rice Industry - Hau Giang 2023, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan said that this is the first time the locality has organized an international event about rice. “We need to change the direction of doing business in a new way. The Minister said it could be selling products that have never existed or taking advantage of waste and by-products in the rice industry," the Minister said.

Currently, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development is implementing and organizing many projects related to the rice industry, including the project of 1 million hectares of high-quality rice, emission reduction and agricultural mechanization projects.
