The Private Sector Development Research Board established as per the Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform’s Decision no. 842/QĐ- HĐTV dated on October 3rd 2017 officially launched on the evening of October 30th, 2017 in Hanoi. The Board prioritizes agriculture, tourism and information technology as 3 first sectors for their research.
The Private Sector Development Research Board consists of 6 members, where Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of Software and IT Service, Vice Chairman of the Advisory Council for Administrative Procedure Reform is the chairman.
The Private Sector Development Research Board is responsible for studying, consulting and proposing the reform of mechanisms, policies and administrative procedures related to the private sector development in association with national economic targets, actively building a supporting system, and mobilizing resources for assigned tasks.
According to Truong Gia Binh, members of the Board commits to choose the most important and necessary issues to advice, contributing to timely solve problems hindering the development of private enterprises.
At the launching ceremony, Minister and the Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung said that the establishment of the Research Board demonstrated the Government’s determination on bringing the Central Resolution 5’s policies on the private sector development into life, significantly contributing to the promotion of the private sector, as well as the enhancement of the role and the position of that sector in the Vietnam economy.
